Donald Trump issued a caution to Iran following the nation’s cessation of all traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, which has caused global oil prices to surge dramatically. In response, Iran has made a threatening statement regarding the assassination of the U.S. president.

The military engagement in Iran has persisted for ten days. Last week, the U.S. eliminated Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei. As U.S. and Israeli military actions continued in the Middle Eastern nation, Iran retaliated with its own strikes.

Donald Trump is exerting pressure on Iran to conclude the hostilities, yet he has not dismissed the possibility of deploying U.S. ground forces. In the meantime, the global economy is experiencing turmoil due to the conflict, particularly affecting the oil market.

Iran has declared the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, through which approximately 20% of the world’s oil is transported, according to reports from the BBC. The ongoing war in Iran has resulted in diminished maritime traffic, leading to a significant increase in global oil prices.
